Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Must have Fire Safety Manager course from Bangladesh Fire Service Civil Defense

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Fire and Safety, Fire safety Management, Fire Safety Training
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee the entire function of safety team and provide all kind of comments or direction where necessary.
∎ Lead, train and guide the team as per Company rules, Country’s laws- regulation, buyer COC to get maximum output through better team work.
∎ Maintaining communication with Government and other agencies to ensure safety activities smoothly.
∎ Collaborates with management to develop an emergency action plan, policy, introducing new methodology, risk assessment activities, awareness program, and CFDS installation as per requirements.
∎ Organize and conduct training regularly on Fire, Safety, or Security to all firemen, security, employees.
∎ To ensure In-house fire training for firefighters, rescuers, new employees, and security personnel.
∎ Plan, coordinate and conduct monthly, half-yearly fire or evacuation drills as per program to aware all employees.
∎ Perform inspections of factory premises for safety issues, hazard identification and taking corrective actions.
∎ Monitor and ensure proper aisles marking as per law and all types of safety signs or stickers are posted in the proper location.
∎ Monitoring hot work, height work and special work environment conditions.
∎ Monitor and ensure firefighting equipment or instruments are properly placed in factory premises.
∎ Ensure RSC (Accord), ELLEVATE (Alliance) or buyer’s report, fire license report and CAP report are regularly updated.
∎ Maintaining all documents of ISO 45001:2018 OH&SMS and checklist as per management requirements.
∎ Perform internal audit, safety audit and yearly risk assessment activities for the full premises as per requirements of New Fire License RSC (Accord), ELLEVATE (Alliance) and buyers COC.
∎ Maintains a written log of safety inspection activities and prepare report regularly on fire hazard, safety or security problems as per management requirement.
∎ Monitoring fire alarm control panel, CCTV and keeping records.
∎ Make sure all relevant licenses or permits are updated and readily available.
∎ Monitoring purchase of all types of safety equipment, check and maintenance with sub-ordinates.
∎ Monitor and ensure that the facility of fire equipment, fire hydrant, fire pumps or other instruments are adequate and are working properly.
∎ Serve as primary contact for project site injury, incident notification, analysis, investigation and case management.
∎ Decision-Making quality.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 32 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ TOT certificate on fire safety training or fire safety issues such as training, drill, awareness etc.
∎ Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
∎ Computer literacy and ability to use a computer in a technological platform.
∎ Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
∎ Should be capable to lead a team to ensure maximum efficiency of the organization
∎ Knowledge on installation of panel board system fire alarm, smoke detector as well as complete fire hydrant system sprinkler as guided in NFPA and BNBC.
∎ Knowledge on to set up firefighting equipment as per the requirement of the Bangladesh Fire Prevention Act.
∎ Adequate knowledge in firefighting, first aid and evacuation.
