Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg)
∎ Graduation in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Educational requirement will be relaxed for candidates with 4 or more years of relevant experience in large factory)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Environmental Compliance, Health Safety and Environment
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Motor Vehicle body manufacturer
Job Context:
∎ Ensure implementation of relevant legal rules & regulations imposed by the Government for manufacturing plants and industries (Red Category).
∎ Ensure updated documents & license as per Govt. & Industry requirement.
∎ Prepare reports for concerned authorities.
∎ Ensure ETP management & reporting.
∎ Ensure least Hazard and Accidents inside and around plant area.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure adherence to all relevant legal rules & regulations imposed by the Government for manufacturing plants and industries (Red Category).
∎ Communicate with the Government officials in the related fields to update the environment, health and safety policies & license.
∎ Always ensure the company is prepared to submit all the relevant health and safety documents to Govt. Authorities.
∎ Ensure Utility safety and in-depth monitoring of Effluent Treatment Plant.
∎ Proactive approach towards any Hazard and Accidents inside and around plant area.
∎ Educate and oversee employees on health and safety procedures and regulations.
∎ Encourage and promote the use of safer work equipment, materials and supplies.
∎ Track the number of incidents and produce reports as well as countermeasures.
∎ Cooperate with the health officer and guide him according to the requirement of the safety and health of the operators and officers.
∎ Create awareness on Environment, Safety and Health by arranging Seminars, Meetings and Training sessions for the operators and officers.
∎ Analyze any unsafe act and provide an insight to the officers as well as operators so that safety measures are taken.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ In depth Knowledge regarding Govt. Compliance for EHS
∎ ETP management & reporting
∎ Fire Safety procedure
∎ Red Category licensing & documentation
∎ Excellent report writing & communication skill
Salary: Tk. 30000 - 45000 (Monthly)
