∎ We have an opening at our `Supply Chain Department` and we are looking for a smart/dynamic person who has a proven track record and experience in this field.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist SCM procurement of all material input for the Company.
∎ Monitor forecasts and trends to identify changes and effects on supply chain activities.
∎ Conduct regular and random inventory checks on all stores & warehouses of the Company as well as on other assets.
∎ Coordination of supply chain works with other functional areas of the Company such as production, sales, marketing, finance, etc.
∎ Source new vendors and Negotiate prices and Terms & conditions with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
∎ Implement new or improved supply chain procedures for strengthening Company's existing supply chain activities.
∎ Control expenditure & wastages for building a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs.
∎ Locate/identify cost and effective & reliable suppliers and sources and initiate business partnerships with them.
∎ Build backup sources of suppliers & vendors.
∎ Design & implement supply chain practices that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
∎ Plan and execute procurement and sourcing of required materials.
∎ Forecast demand for products to meet business needs.
∎ Negotiate with external vendors to secure a competitive advantage.
∎ Identify and manage risk associate supply contracts and agreements.
∎ Import goods following the User's specification and track/follow up the shipment.
∎ Analyze & compare information about supplier performance and price.
∎ Communicate with Bank, Insurance, customs clearances authorities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Knowledge of activities related to planned purchases of Company materials (both local & foreign).
∎ Knowledge of strategic issues such as material requirement planning, inventory control, warehousing, receiving, distribution, etc.
∎ Knowledge of forecast of demand and creation of procurement plans to ensure uninterrupted availability of materials for production and other activities.
∎ Should have excellent interpersonal relationship skills as well as writing, reporting, analytical, and independent correspondence skill.
∎ Knowledge of pre & post-cost analysis of imported materials.
∎ Knowledge of Supply Chain reporting of inventory status and other related information.
∎ Knowledge of Keeping track of stock & inventory position and necessary action plan.
∎ Must have good knowledge of Import-Export documentation, LC management, shipping cycle monitor.
∎ Must have adequate knowledge on HS code, Customs Act, Import Policy, Export Policy, Insurance policy, Customs formalities, and other related laws applicable for Import & Export.
∎ Must know about coordination with the Bank, Insurance, and Freight forwarder/C&F agent about LC issuance/acceptance and material clearing from ports.
∎ Good communication and email writing skills.
