∎ MD/FCPS/Diploma in Anesthesiology
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Will be able to detect and manage life-threatening conditions individually as well as part of treating team
∎ Perform procedures like intubation, central line insertion, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation
∎ Monitor and adjust patient treatment plans according to the directive of treating Consultant
∎ Educate patients' families about conditions, treatments, and prognosis as per Consultants directive
∎ Maintain patient records meticulously
∎ Participate in professional development
∎ Take over and handovers at the beginning and end of shifts
∎ Follow infection control practices, patient safety goals
∎ Communicate with patients, families, and other staff
∎ Brief consultants about patient admissions, discharges, and changes in condition
∎ Diagnose, treat, and support critically ill and injured patients
∎ Coordinate patient care among the patient's primary physician, critical care staff, and other specialists
