∎ DA/MD/FCPS/ MRCP/ MRCS/ MS or equivalent in relevant discipline.

Job Context:
∎ We are looking for Specialist/Intensivists for Covid ICU/ Covid CCU.
∎ Required to have hands on Practical/ clinical experience in relevant discipline after post qualification is preferable.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Specialist will supervise the Senior House Officers (Doctors) in the management of the admitted patients.
∎ He/ she will respond to the call from in-patient and/or Emergency and will inform the consultant about the outcome.
∎ The Specialist will make rounds and see all admitted patients, check if Consultants instructions have been carried out and also discuss with Consultant if the patient condition so requires.
∎ Specialist will attend the calls from other departments requesting consultations for both in-patients and emergency and provide assistance, as required. S/he will discuss the case with Consultants, if required.
∎ During the routine surgical operative procedures (if applicable), the Specialists will assist the Consultants and in selective cases perform the operation if the Consultant agrees and delegates the responsibility to the specialist.
∎ The intensivist will look after the management and treatment of patients admitted in ICU/ CCU and generally ensure that the instructions of the Consultants are being properly followed up
∎ The intensivist will coordinate and seek advice from Consultants regarding the treatment plan and management of their patients admitted in the critical areas
∎ Being a senior physician and as part of overall improvement of patient care, it is expected that whenever possible, the Specialists will conduct teaching to the Senior House Officers (Doctors) of their respective department and will also actively take part in arranging and conducting all Continues Professional Development (Continues Medical Education) programs within the department and if possible as part of the hospital activities.

∎ Candidate should be proficient in using Microsoft Office.
∎ Should have good command on English & Bangla with good speaking and writing skill
∎ Should be enthusiastic, pro-active, dedicated, punctual and hard working.
∎ Should have good interpersonal & presentation skills.
