Educational Requirements:
∎ Post Graduate qualifications in the Internal Medicine such as FCPS, MD, MRCP, American Board Certified etc.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Family Medicine or Health Screening Department of any reputed Hospital

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide medical advice and counseling to those who are doing health screening checkups and assessment with consequent referral for further consultation or investigations based on the health screening tests outcome
∎ Responsible for filling up medical forms or any other corporate customized forms as needed by any health checkup seeking companies or individuals
∎ Provide consultations and appropriate treatments to the patients to walk-in or pre-scheduled OPD patients
∎ Provide telemedicine service as part of package or on an independent basis as sought by patients or as referred from other stakeholders
∎ Ensure safe, ethical and effective clinical practice
∎ Guide patients to avail preventive health screenings or other available facilities of the hospital, as deemed necessary
∎ Give suggestions while designing customized health screening packages to address specific diseases or to commemorate any event
∎ Be responsible for providing supervision and guidance to the Family Medicine team of doctor, CRO and Nurse
∎ Ensure that clinical notes (patient’s general condition, investigations requested, results of investigations received, any actions taken on the basis of those investigations etc) are being recorded properly by himself/ herself in the ‘confidential file’ of the patient with date and time.
∎ Maintain effective two-way communication systems with all staff
∎ Contribute to the development of safe hospital systems
∎ Organize clinical practice to enable to participate in hospital decision making without unduly impacting on hospital finances, level of service or patient care
∎ Contribute to the Clinical Audit process
∎ Ensure that the department has proper roster system for weekdays office hour coverage and for TM coverage of Home Care packages.
∎ Ensure that departmental doctors & other staff carry out their assigned responsibility diligently and to internationally accepted standards
∎ Take a leading role and take part in all forms of academic activities (CME)
∎ Regularly attend committee meetings of the hospital
∎ Contribute to the hospital’s Clinical Governance system
∎ Participate in hospital planning and decision making
∎ Communicate with patients and families respectfully and fully and ensure that others in the department do also
∎ Will strictly maintain official timings himself/ herself and will also make sure that everybody in the department maintains the regularity.
∎ Not allowed to make public statement without permission from the Hospital Management.
∎ Actively make use of hospital facilities and services such as radiology and imaging, laboratory, pharmacy, etc. unless the required services are not available in-house.
∎ To abide by UHL’s current Medical By-laws, Rules and Regulations.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 4-5 years clinical experience at renowned hospital after post graduate qualification
∎ Publications in recognized medical journals of the respected fields, will be added advantage
∎ Excellent communication skills
∎ Excellent problem solving skills
∎ Should have good command on English & Bangla with fluent speaking and writing skill.
∎ Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
∎ Additional spoken language skills other than English and Bangla
