Education:
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
∎ FCPS or MD in Cardiology.
Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Providing comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular diseases, including managing patients in CCU, step-down CCU, and other wards.
∎ Performing and interpreting diagnostic tests like ECG (Holter ECG & BP monitoring), ETT, and ECHO (Dobutamin stress Echo).
∎ Developing and implementing treatment plans for various heart conditions, including medication, interventional procedures, and surgical interventions.
∎ Responding to cardiac emergencies in the CCU, critical care areas, and accident & emergency departments.
∎ Participating in CME programs to stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiology.
∎ Maintaining accurate patient records, including case sheets and progress notes.
∎ Working closely with other healthcare professionals, including consultants, registrars, and nursing staff.
∎ Contributing to clinical trials, translational research, and the development of new technologies in cardiology.
∎ To assist and perform CAG and Cardiac Cath under observation.
∎ To assist PTCA, CRTD, AICD, PTMC, TAVI, PAG procedures.
