We design in the USA and manufacture in Asia to offer our retail partners the ideal combination of value and fashion leadership. Now we are searching for a full time Bangladesh Sourcing Consultant.
∎ The Bangladesh Sourcing Consultant will work to identify, authenticate, audit, develop, and maintain suppliers. Building the supplier database will require extensive travel to factory locations. After establishing suppliers, a lot of focus will shift to product development activities such as quoting and sampling. Eventually, QA related work will be needed to monitor and verify production. After successful completion of general sourcing and establishment of regular purchase orders, the position will shift to full time Country Manager in charge of all operations and local staffing.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Experience with USA retail stores' operational, quality, compliance and audit requirements. We currently work with Target, Walmart, Dollar General, TJMaxx, etc.
∎ Highly proficient business English reading and writing.
∎ Fluent Bangla
∎ Experience in arts and crafts, basketwork, woodworks, metalworks, and/or furniture.
∎ Ability and willingness to travel extensively within Bangladesh.
∎ Experience in Social Compliance and factory audit requirement with US retailers.
∎ Supplier identification, qualification, development and relations
∎ Product sample development requests and logistics execution
∎ Product quotations
∎ Quality assurance
∎ Compliance training, mock audits, and formal CAP execution
∎ Extensive travel in Bangladesh
∎ Frequent scheduled teleconferences, sometimes in evenings or early morning.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent general office skills, including all Microsoft office applications
∎ Strong organizational, communication and negotiation skills
∎ Attention to detail and follow through a must
∎ Possesses a high level of personal integrity
∎ Ability to succeed in a multicultural environment
