∎ The role of the Instructor is to take responsibility for a particular course and to support the planning, development, and delivery of that course. The Instructor has a key role of assisting the Department Head in assuring the quality of BTEB (Bangladesh Technical Education Board) academic program and facilitating student success at the Institutions. The role encompasses course planning, course design and development, course delivery, selection of educational resources, assessment, students` learning outcomes, and course evaluation.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate and guide the Students of his own class
∎ Check the Lesson Plan if it is done according to the Syllabus and present the same to the section in-charge for approval
∎ Counsel to the Guardians/ Parents as and when required
∎ Take initiative whenever it is necessary in order to uphold the image of the Institution
∎ Take initiatives against any sort of disciplined activities by any of the subordinates or students
∎ Counsel Parents/Guardians regarding their children's problems
∎ Motivate and Counsel the students and their parents/guardians through follow-up to ensure 85% class attendance and to reduce dropout
∎ Prepare weekly attendance report and submit to the Course Coordinator
∎ Prepare lesson plan and semester plan at the beginning of the subject
∎ Positive willingness for Team work & Hardworking
∎ To arrange industrial attachment training & Industrial tour for students
∎ Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
