Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conducting lighter vessel loading-unloading operation at Chattogram/ Mongla/ Narayangong/ Nagarbari/ Noapara independently/ joint surveyor and prepare reports to submit the to concern department.
∎ Communicating and coordinating with all lighter discharge unit head for unloading/production works & prepare comparative report basis survey & actual received quantity.
∎ Coordinate with owner, carrier, supplier, third party surveyor regarding settlement/recovery of shortfall of the cargo.
∎ Ensuring properly sweeping of the cargo / lighter vessel at the end of unloading of lighter at unloading site before issuance of release order to the lighter master.
∎ Keeping record of demurrage, dispatch of the lighters time to time, and report the same to the concern management body.
∎ Maintaining communication with corporate logistics department regarding upcoming vessel line up & their quantity to get necessary preparation.
∎ End to End Logistics solution of BULK Cargo import.
∎ Ensure safe transportation of goods from port to Customer’s site.
∎ Establish material delivery planning/procedures to ensure availability of required import material in time.
∎ Monitor shipment, coordinate with supplier on timely delivery of import consignment.
∎ Maintain liaison with Customs to resolve disputed issues.
∎ Warehouse/Stock Yard management.
∎ Follow up the storage process for all the imported materials, monitor stock level, site wise inventory management and generate report weekly/monthly.
∎ Perform any other tasks as assigned by the superior management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 33 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 8 years relevant experience as a Site Operation In-Charge is preferable
∎ Applicants having only relevant experience are requested to apply only.
∎ Leadership Quality and experience of work under pressure.
∎ Have experience in handling BULK commodities like Stone, Coal, Food Grains will get preference
∎ Excellent communication skills and convincing personality.
∎ Strong skills of identifying opportunities and turn the same into reality.
∎ Ability and willingness to work under pressure & beyond office hour.
∎ Highly motivated with good time management skills.
∎ Energetic, hardworking and flexible.
∎ Good over computer skills: MS office, E-mail, Internet browsing, Report writing etc.
