Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Civil
∎ Must be Fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
∎ Skills Required: Civil Engineering, River Training
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Civil Engineering and River Training Works.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinating and managing the staff team + specialist sub-contractors
∎ Inspecting field sites to observe and Collect field survey data and measurements to do monitoring productivity and providing feedback
∎ Providing reports on works completed
∎ Daily and Weekly Construction schedule and activity planning for the works of River Training works and making progress reports and site activities
∎ Attending and monitoring progress meetings
∎ Handling daily activities to ensure the smooth running of projects as per the specifications and design drawings
∎ Guiding all the sub-contractor foremen and overseeing all the requirements for each type of works from labor to material on-site to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters.
∎ Knowledge of understanding the engineering drawings, technical specifications, Topo & bathymetry survey
∎ Safety and Quality control in coordination with different departments
∎ Ensuring that all the workmen comply with practice and principles of the safety system.
∎ Several documentation works (e.g. daily report, progress report, activity list, inspection sheet, etc.)
∎ Other duties as assigned by Superiors.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Knowledge of Civil and River Training works.
∎ Knowledge of methodology in the construction sites.
∎ Capability to control schedule, activity, progress together with documentation.
∎ Smooth communication with concerned person & subcontractor.
∎ Preparation for brief drawings for site activity instruction.
∎ Decision Making & Problem Solver.
∎ Efficient in computer operation (e.g. AutoCAD, MS-office, etc.).
∎ Physical strength in site condition.
Salary: Negotiable
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Over time allowance
∎ Salary Review: Yearly
∎ Festival Bonus: 2
∎ Regular work time: 8:00 - 17:00 (Saturday- Thursday).
∎ Food and accommodation provided by the company.
