Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Public Polytechnic Institute will be preferable)
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Offers advice in the planning, co-ordination and supervision of technical aspects of engineers / hydraulic system of dredger.
∎ Strong background on engine repairing and maintenance.
∎ Ability to monitor engine's performance.
∎ Knowledge surrounding the fluid mechanics of dredging as well as knowledge in the types of dredgers common in the industry
∎ Able to monitor dredging performance against specific expectations, interpret results and offer required, timely solutions;
∎ Ability to advise on the technical issue to find out ways of repairing any defects.
∎ His role is vital to solving technical issues, providing advice, management and preparing reports.
∎ Preparation of Daily Progress Report, Weekly Status Reports and monitoring reports on ancillary equipment and Bunking
∎ Supervise work as per schedule
∎ Preparing bills, MPR (Material purchase requisition).
∎ Handling manpower of site.
∎ Liaising with other engineers and technical consultants.
∎ All other relevant duties as assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Strictly monitoring about wastage control.
∎ Submit regular report to immediate supervisor.
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skill.
∎ Computer knowledge in Ms Word, Excel.
