Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Project Planning and Design: Assist in reviewing construction plans, drawings, and designs. Ensure that the project follows the approved plans, design specifications, and budget.
∎ Site Supervision: Oversee the day-to-day operations at the construction site, ensuring that work is progressing according to schedule. Monitor and supervise construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other teams on-site.
∎ Quality Control: Conduct inspections to ensure that materials, equipment, and workmanship meet the required standards and specifications. Perform testing of materials (concrete, steel, soil, etc.) to ensure they meet design and regulatory requirements.
∎ Health and Safety: Ensure that safety protocols and regulations are adhered to at all times on-site.
∎ Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to prevent accidents and injuries.
∎ Budget and Cost Management: Track the budget and costs associated with construction materials, labor, and equipment.
∎ Provide reports to project managers regarding the financial status of the project.
∎ Problem Solving: Identify any issues that arise during construction, such as delays or design discrepancies, and provide solutions to address them.
