Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc or Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Power
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To assist in shift operation of the power plant.
∎ To keep sharp watch on the level of all the parameters of Engine.
∎ To write all the relevant events of the shift in the actions shift log book, including any pending action to be taken in the next shift.
∎ Must be fully conversant with the single line diagram of the plants power generation & evacuation system.
∎ Take readings of all the gauges and parameters at a prescribed intervals and records in the respective log books.
∎ Keep informing the control room Engineer for any abnormality & corrective measures taken by yourself or weather to be done by the shift Engineers presence is required to attend the problem.
∎ Ensure proper handling/taking over the duties among the senior operators of the relieving & the next shift.
∎ Prepare Yearly/Monthly/Daily generation report.
∎ Coordination between substation and power plant.
∎ Any others jobs assigned by the superior.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Must have knowledge & experience of working in Gas based power plant.
∎ Familiar with working principle of auxiliary equipment like feed water pump, Radiator, Heat Exchanger and other involved.
∎ Must have good working knowledge about all the operation & control system of the running machinery (Main & Auxiliary).
∎ To be able to lead the team & handle all types of emergency situation when arise during the Shift.
