∎ Minimum Bachelor in Engineering. Master degree will be given preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ 12 to 18 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Operation of Combined Cycle Power Plant
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Communicate with Load Dispatch Center for scheduling, load dispatch, outage etc.
∎ Supervise start-up, shutdown, load regulation and carry out weekly, monthly testing of equipment to check the reliability of plant equipment and Systems.
∎ Report the deviations to the Operation Manager and Maintenance Manager for immediate rectification.
∎ Ensure equipment isolation and normalization are carried out as per the requirement, following proper Safety Procedures and issue Permission To Work.
∎ Carry out isolations and normalization of electrical, mechanical and process system.
∎ Generate, hang, clear and administer Lock Out Tag Outs.
∎ Responsible to oversee all start-up, shutdown, and normal & emergency operations as per the stipulated procedures.
∎ Analyze plant operating problems and coordinate solutions with the shift team members and maintenance team to increase plant availability, reliability, safety standards etc.
∎ Co-ordinate with maintenance, safety and other departments as required.
∎ Ensure all parameters and auxiliaries are maintained for smooth operation.
∎ Prepare daily production report, generation report, start-up/ shutdown /trip reports etc.
∎ Preparation of monthly operation report, plant status report and other operational reports
∎ Maintain the shift logs, equipment operation data, parameter trends, and equipment history records.
∎ Communicate with TITAS for gas receipts and outages.
∎ Prepare and review the Standard Operation Procedures.
∎ Ensures all the plant emergency and protection equipment are available at all times
∎ Trip analysis and prepare trip reports.
∎ Participate in failure route cause analysis.
∎ Optimize lubricant and chemical consumption.
∎ Optimize auxiliary power consumption.
∎ Report efficiency improvement measures to Operation Manager.
∎ Guide & train operation engineers/operators as needed.
∎ Ensure compliance to local regulations, codes and standards
∎ Any other task as assigned by the O&M Preparation Manager/ Operation Manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Must have good problem solving and analytical skills
∎ Awareness of importance of HSE compliance
∎ Good English writing skill for preparing manuals, procedures and reports
