• Supervise the entire sewing line to ensure daily production targets and deadlines are met.
• Plan and organize the allocation of operators, balancing the workflow to maximize throughput and minimize bottlenecks.
• Monitor and track hourly or daily production output and work-in-progress (WIP) levels.
• Coordinate with the planning, cutting, and quality control departments to ensure a smooth and continuous production flow.
• Ensure all caps and hats meet the specified quality standards and product specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify defects and take immediate corrective action.
• Train workers on specific quality guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Manage, motivate, and guide a team of sewing machine operators.
• Assess operator skills and implement effective training plans, including cross-training, to improve overall section efficiency and versatility.
• Handle employee relations, address personal problems, and enforce company policies and disciplinary procedures regarding attendance, lateness, and breaks.
