Responsibilities & Context:
Essential Intelligence Services Bangladesh (EIS) is looking for an experienced and results-driven SEO Specialist to join our growing digital marketing team.
The ideal candidate must have practical experience in traditional SEO as well as Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO), and improving brand visibility across AI-powered search platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective SEO strategies for local and international clients
Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and search-intent mapping
Perform technical, on-page, off-page, and local SEO
Identify and resolve website indexing, crawling, ranking, and technical SEO issues
Optimise website content for Google Search and AI-powered platforms
Develop GEO and AEO strategies to improve visibility in AI-generated search results
Work on Google Business Profile optimisation and local search rankings
Create content briefs and collaborate with content writers and developers
Plan and execute ethical link-building and backlink strategies
Monitor performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools
Prepare clear monthly reports covering rankings, traffic, conversions, and completed work
Stay updated with Google algorithm changes, AI search developments, and SEO industry trends
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1–2 years of practical SEO experience
Proven experience managing SEO projects and achieving measurable ranking improvements
Practical knowledge of GEO, AEO, AI search visibility, and AI-focused content optimisation
Strong understanding of technical, on-page, off-page, and local SEO
Experience with WordPress and SEO plugins such as Rank Math or Yoast SEO
Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console
Experience using tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms
Good understanding of keyword research, search intent, content planning, and backlink analysis
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Good written and verbal communication skills
Additional Skills We Appreciate
Candidates with experience in the following areas will receive preference:
Digital marketing strategy
SEO content writing and copywriting
Social media content planning
Google Ads or Meta Ads
Conversion-focused website content
Working with Australian or other international clients
