Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead and manage all aspects of the supply chain process, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
∎ Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery within the organization.
∎ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and sales, to ensure alignment in supply chain activities and services.
∎ Analyze market trends and internal data to forecast demand and ensure adequate supply levels to meet customer needs.
∎ Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to negotiate contracts and secure favorable terms.
∎ Monitor supply chain performance metrics and implement continuous improvement measures to optimize processes.
∎ Manage a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high levels of performance and professional development.
∎ Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all aspects of supply chain operations.
