Job Context:
∎ We are looking for Senior Manager – Project Management (EPC) under Confidence Infrastructure Limited (Steel Unit).
∎ Candidate should have intention to travel anywhere in the Bangladesh for project purpose.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create & maintain effective project plan, implement & monitor implementation or large-scale civil work projects.
∎ The candidate must have a clear concept regarding understanding the civil design, steel detailing & requirements represented in drawings.
∎ The candidate must have previous experience with project planning, work schedule, manpower management, equipment requirements, etc. for large scale projects.
∎ Arrange calls/meetings on regular basis with Project Engineers, Site Engineers & contractors to supervise and consult about overall project planning, progress, and maintain the Project Time Schedule (PTS).
∎ Should understand contract documents, agreements & tenders-related issues.
∎ Coordinate with the design team, coordinators, accounts team, procurement team, business development team as well as submit reports and present the overall progress with Team leader & Chief Operating Officer.
∎ Instruct the site engineers for keeping a proper record of work quantities, labor quantities, daily conveyances, materials consumption, and optional works like dismantling/ breaking, additional works, etc. and record it for calculation of cost as and when required.
∎ Take necessary action for rectifications/ modifications of works as instructed by the clients and agreed by Confidence Group before/during project handover procedure time. Planning contingency programs in case time-frames change.
∎ Perform site inspections on regular basis to follow up on work progress of projects ensuring that work progress is carried out as per the approved work schedule while guaranteeing that the timeliness of the project meets the target dates (attend progress meetings) and that appropriate resources are allocated as per the contractual agreement.
∎ Pursue standardization and streamlining to improve efficiencies in reporting, including continuous improvement of tools and techniques.
∎ Producing progress reports and forecasts for team members, clients and stakeholders.
∎ Using project management tools to plan time-frames. Proficiency in MS Project is a must, P6 will be advantageous.
∎ Should have excellent skills with quick estimation, AutoCAD (Civil), MS package (Excel, Word & Power Point, Project), etc.
∎ Experience with working across a complex project delivery cycle.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Ability to formulate Strategy, Policy & Plan.
∎ Must have experience in large scale project construction works for at least 10 years.
∎ Experience with working across a complex project delivery cycle.
∎ The candidate must have a clear concept regarding understanding the civil design, steel detailing & requirements represented in drawings.
∎ Proficiency in MS Project is a must, P6 will be advantageous.
∎ Must be computer literate and able to produce different analytical reports and statements independently.
∎ Should have excellent skills with quick estimation, AutoCAD (Civil), MS package (Excel, Word & Power Point, Project), (Data analysis and report preparation) etc.
∎ Knowledge on Project Management, Revenue plan, Accounts, Finance, Budget, Cost, Business development, Performance management, Tender participation & evaluation, Compliance issues related to business, Teamwork software for Project Time Schedule (PTS)/ERP
∎ Adequate skill is required to drive a team as a team leader to achieve collective goals.
∎ Capability of self-planning and decision-making.
