Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conducting detailed quantity take-offs from construction drawings and specifications to accurately determine the quantities of materials required for the project.
∎ Reviewing and analyzing BOQs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements, specifications, and standards.
∎ Collaborating with estimators and project managers to accurately estimate the cost of materials, labor, equipment, and other resources required for the project.
∎ Maintaining proper documentation of all BOQ-related activities, including revisions, updates, and changes.
∎ Collaborating with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and availability information for materials and services listed in the BOQ.
∎ Working closely with project teams to ensure that materials and workmanship comply with project specifications and standards outlined in the BOQ.
