Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for dyeing machinery, boilers, pumps, and other related equipment.
∎ Oversee and coordinate routine maintenance tasks to ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
∎ Respond to breakdowns and ensure timely repairs to minimize production downtime.
∎ Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with dyeing machinery and other equipment.
∎ Perform or oversee repairs to restore equipment to full working order.
∎ Collaborate with the engineering team to analyze recurring problems and implement long-term solutions.
∎ Liaise with external vendors and contractors for the procurement of spare parts, tools, and specialized services.
∎ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and spare parts inventory.
∎ Job Summary:
∎ The Senior Maintenance Engineer in a yarn dyeing facility is responsible for managing the maintenance activities of all dyeing machinery and related equipment. This role involves ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the equipment, implementing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting issues, and leading a team of maintenance technicians. The Senior Maintenance Engineer will also work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure the smooth operation of the dyeing processes.
