Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
∎ Government recognized medical college
∎ Training/Trade Course: 2 years training
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Act under the supervision of the Consultant and to support the Consultant in their duties.
∎ Admit patients from the Emergency Department.
∎ Attend daily ward rounds with the team.
∎ Take hand over of patients from previous shift Registrar, so that continuity of care is ensured and immediate decisions are made and orders written.
∎ Review patients on a regular basis in accordance with the plan of care made at the beginning of the shift and inform the consultant of any issues or problems.
∎ Document review findings in clinical notes in a timely and legible manner.
∎ Cover duties as assigned by the Management.
∎ Respond to any adverse occurrences e. g. injuries, falls, sudden illnesses etc., suffered by patients, visitors or staff.
∎ Contribute to quality improvement; risk management initiatives and policy development so that the overall service is of the highest quality and reflective of best practice.
∎ Assist in the education of colleagues and staff.
∎ Act and behave professionally and perform one's duties in a manner that optimizes patient care and protects and enhances the reputation of AMZ Hospital.
∎ Adhere to Hospital Policies and Procedures e. g. JCI, Code Blue, infection control, work hours and overtime.
∎ Comply with Health and Safety Regulations, ensuring safe working practices in a safe working environment.
∎ Undertake any other duties that may be required, which could include assisting medical colleagues throughout the hospital and acting as a resource for more junior colleagues
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3- Years' experience after MBBS
∎ NICU handling capacity
∎ Shows respect and behave in accordance with Good Medical Practice
∎ Works flexibly and deals with tasks effectively and efficiently
∎ Remains calm in stressful or high-pressure situations and adopts a timely, rational approach
∎ Maintains good inter personal relationship with colleagues and juniors
∎ Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
∎ Excellent oral & Written communication skills with strong command in MS Excel & MS Word
∎ Ability to remain, objective and professional in challenging situations.
∎ Ability to work in fast paced work environment both independently and in a group.
