∎ Expertise in negotiating favorable terms with suppliers, including cost, lead times, and payment terms.
∎ Ability to address supply chain disruptions or delays promptly, with a focus on minimizing impact on production.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ 1) Develop samples for garment trims and accessories from both local and international sources, ensuring adherence to lead times. Submit samples for approval, including price and lead-time details.
∎ 2) Collect quotations, lead times, payment terms, and delivery modes from suppliers to create a Comparative Statement for management approval.
∎ 3) Negotiate with suppliers to reduce costs and lead times, ensuring quality products are delivered on schedule.
∎ 4) Prepare and finalize bulk bookings with selected suppliers, overseeing orders from placement through in-house arrival.
∎ 5) Receive and verify Proforma Invoices (PIs) from suppliers, coordinating with the commercial department to ensure timely payments.
∎ 6) Ensure timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted production and operations.
∎ 7) Maintain consistent communication with Merchandising, Planning, Commercial, and Accounts departments to streamline supply chain activities.
∎ 8) Conduct regular market surveys to identify alternative suppliers and enhance price competitiveness.
∎ 9) Maintain knowledge of inventory management and various accessories tests to uphold product standards.
