Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitor and maintain optimum levels of dyes and chemicals in the inventory to ensure uninterrupted production;
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional departments, including production & C&F for shipment/Delivery follow up in order to in-house as per plan;
∎ Collaborate with the Material control department, suppliers, and other stakeholders both internal and external;
∎ Conduct supplier enlistment and evaluation procedure effectively according to company policy and maintain strong business relationship with them;
∎ Identify cost-saving opportunities by negotiating better prices, optimizing order quantities, and exploring alternative suppliers or materials;
∎ Maintain and ensure accurate documentation and record keeping of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, invoices, comparative statements and correspondence;
∎ Good knowledge of import procedures i.e. Product HS codes, LC terms-conditions, Incoterms 2020 including customs rules and regulations;
∎ Strong knowledge on latest sustainability and compliance requirement of Dyes-chemicals.
