Job Context:
∎ Confidence Cement Dhaka Ltd is looking for a Senior Executive - Supply Chain.
∎ Cement Plant Location: Danga, Norshindi.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure sourcing, negotiate and purchase of materials (i.e. Construction materials, Raw materials, Machineries, HVAC, Mechanical & Hardware items, Any spare parts, Electrical items etc.) from vendors within the deadline.
∎ Purchasing of Re bar, Cement, Construction Chemicals, Stone Chips, Sand, Bricks, Materials handling equipment, Fuel oil, Raw materials and other items for new Cement manufacturing project.
∎ Hiring all types of Machineries, Equipment for ongoing construction project.
∎ Ensure all goods and services purchased comply with company procurement policy & procedure.
∎ Searching profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships.
∎ Preparing CS, Issuing PO, Formation of Contracts/ Agreements/MOU etc.
∎ Responsible for implementing internal procurement action plan to cater superior delivery services and shorten lead time.
∎ Link up with cross functional departments, suppliers, factory for smooth and uninterrupted operational support.
∎ Generate daily, weekly and monthly procurement reports
∎ Frequently market visit
∎ Identification and implementation cost saving strategy.
∎ Supplier selection and re qualifying to manage the risk.
∎ Monitoring and measuring supplier performance.
∎ Increase the quality and efficiency of communication with supplier.
∎ Aligns with company strategy and supplier strategy to create competitive advantage.

∎ Pro-active, energetic and self-motivated
∎ Excellent communication skill both written and speaking in English
∎ Team player and good interpersonal skills
∎ Well conversant in MS-Office and ERP
∎ Honest and dedicated
