Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Transport Department, including fleet management and logistics coordination.
∎ Develop and implement strategies to optimize transportation routes, reduce costs, and enhance delivery timelines.
∎ Ensure compliance with local and national transportation regulations and safety standards.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline logistics and transportation processes for efficient service delivery.
∎ Conduct regular assessments of transportation needs and recommend improvements to the existing transportation system.
∎ Manage relationships with third-party transportation service providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements are met.
∎ Analyze transportation data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary corrective measures.
∎ Provide leadership and guidance to the transport department staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
∎ Prepare and present regular reports on transportation activities, key performance indicators, and budgetary expenditures to senior management.
∎ Should be experienced in checking fuel, food and other bills of drivers.
∎ Must have experience working with vehicle tracking device monitoring, insurance claims, police cases and road accident troubleshooting.
∎ Experience in Bengali and English typing.

∎ Age 24 to 50 years

∎ In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in the industry.
∎ Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools for transportation performance assessment.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
∎ Proficiency in relevant software and tools for transportation management and logistics coordination.
∎ Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
∎ Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
