Educational Requirements:
∎ PhD in Environmental Science, Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Science
∎ Must be advanced level in English.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Environmental Engineering

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing Environmental Safeguards of the Project based on the requirements of the Department of Environment (DoE) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
∎ Responsible for timely submission and approval of Environmental Reports of the Project.
∎ Day to day basis coordination with the Engineer’s Environmental Experts.
∎ Weekly joint site inspection with the Engineer’s Environmental Experts.
∎ Provide technical advice to Sub-Contractors / Site Engineers with regards to mitigation actions related to Environmental Safeguards.
∎ Follow-up on corrective actions improvement practices of Subcontractors.
∎ Attend weekly / monthly environmental meetings and represent the Contractor.
∎ Fill up environmental monitoring forms jointly with the Engineer.
∎ Witness during environmental quality sampling by Sub-Contractor.
∎ Managing the preparation of the Contractor’s deliverables.
∎ Managing the preparation of monthly environmental reports.
∎ Prepare responses to all non-conformance notices and letters of the Engineer.
∎ Liaison with other disciplines for improvements or issues related to the environment.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Over 10 years of general work experience as an Environmental Specialist
∎ Minimum 5 years of similar transportation and infrastructure projects experience
∎ Experience in Multinational Mega Projects
∎ will be preferred.
∎ Target Oriented, shall be able to complete assignments within the deadline.
∎ Self Starter and Problem Solver.
∎ Flexible to adopt extended working hours at reporting periods.
∎ Knowledge & Experience of working in a multicultural setting.

Salary: Negotiable

∎ Salary Review: Yearly
∎ Festival Bonus: 2
∎ Regular work time: 8:00 - 17:00 (Saturday- Thursday).
∎ Food and accommodation are provided by the company.
