Education:

• SSC

• Minimum SSC (Secondary School Certificate) or equivalent.

• Prior experience as a security guard (pharmacy/retail preferred).
• Physically fit, alert, and disciplined.
• Knowledge of basic security procedures and emergency response.
• Ability to handle conflicts politely and professionally.

The Security Guard will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and discipline within the model pharmacy premises. The role involves monitoring customer and staff activities, preventing theft, safeguarding pharmacy assets, and maintaining a safe environment for patients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Security & Safety

• Guard pharmacy entrance/exit to control unauthorized access.
• Monitor customer movement to prevent shoplifting and suspicious activity.
• Ensure safety of employees, customers, medicines, and equipment.
• Respond quickly to emergencies, alarms, or unusual incidents.

Access Control & Monitoring

• Verify and control entry/exit of employees, vendors, and delivery personnel.
• Supervise CCTV monitoring (if applicable).
• Maintain a visitor/vendor logbook as per company policy.

Theft & Loss Prevention

• Conduct random bag checks of staff/vendors when required.
• Support management during stock audits to prevent pilferage.
• Report immediately any suspicious activity, theft, or inventory loss.

Customer & Staff Support

• Assist elderly, disabled, or sick customers with safe entry/exit.
• Maintain discipline during rush hours to avoid overcrowding.
• Support during emergency evacuations (fire, health emergency).

Compliance & Reporting

• Follow company security SOPs and pharmacy compliance policies.
• Maintain daily security logbook (incidents, visitors, observations).
• Report security-related issues to Branch Manager/Zonal Manager without delay.
