Responsibilities & Context:

Responsibilities:

  • To provide front line support for the Registrar's Office including telephone, mail, and responding to student, faculty, staff, and general public requests and inquiries.
  • To support the Registrar to prepare papers in connection with the meetings of the Academic Council, Syndicate and different committees of the University, various statutory bodies, regulations and policies and publications.
  • To keep records of minutes and files related to Acts, Rules & Regulations, manual, minutes of the Syndicate, Academic Council and other committees.
  • To manage, receive and dispatch of inward and outward letters and the official documents.
  • To prepare all administrative notices, circulars, office orders, etc. and distribute/circulate the same.
  • To make communications with faculties, staff and students, as required.
  • To initiate different files activities of the Registrar’s Office.
  • To provide information to the faculty members and staffs about various rules of the University.
  • To coordinate with departments and offices as and when required.
  • To maintain a current understanding of academic policies, procedures, and processes related to student records and professionally communicate these to faculty, students, and staff
  • To compile and maintain an up-to-date official records.
  • To provide administrative support in order to ensure effective operations of the Registrar's Office.
  • To perform any other tasks assigned by the Registrar.
