Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Medical Technology in Laboratory, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medical Technology, Major-Laboratory Medicine
∎ Candidate having M.Sc. in life science/basic science will be preferred.
∎ Training/Trade Course: Internship must be completed from a Government Medical College.

∎ 1 to 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform COVID-19 Test using RT-PCR machine (i.e. Carry outmastermixing, operate rt-PCR machine, analyze PCR results, assure quality control of the reports.
∎ Supervision and training of laboratory technologists of sample collection section, extraction section and other supporting staffs.
∎ Prepare, aliquot, storage and disposal of QC materials, calibrators, and reagents etc. in a standard way and maintain relevant documents.
∎ Ensure maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments, run and check results of quality control and post QC data.
∎ Supervise pre-analytic, analytic and post-analytic process relevant to the respective section.
∎ Verify test results for repeat assay and post the data for report preparation and review test results.
∎ Prepare necessary documents as per instruction of Compliance Administrator & Laboratory Director.
∎ Participate in laboratory proficiency testing and inter-laboratory comparison to ensure that quality indicators are fulfilled.
∎ Ensure that laboratory environmental conditions are suitable for standard operations as well as water quality is maintained regularly.
∎ Ensure that safety requirements are fulfilled.
∎ Monitor laboratory inventory to ensure the availability of laboratory supplies/accessories.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least two (2) years' experience in a reputed molecular biology laboratory working with rt-PCR machine.
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience as a laboratory supervisor will be preferred.
∎ Previous experience in international organization is an advantage.
∎ Good coordination skills.
∎ Experience working with supply chain/ supply management.
∎ Computer Skills (e.g.-Microsoft word, Excel).
