Responsibilities & Context:

1. Install, assemble, and maintain various types of pipes and pipe fittings.

2. Read and understand basic piping drawings and layouts.

3. Measure, cut, thread, bend, and join pipes according to specifications.

4. Install valves, flanges, joints, and other pipe-fitting components.

5. Inspect pipelines and fittings for leaks, damage, and proper alignment.

6. Perform repair and maintenance of existing piping systems.

7. Follow workplace safety rules and use appropriate tools and protective equipment.

8. Coordinate with plumbers, technicians, and other workers to complete assigned tasks.

9. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

10. Perform other pipe-fitting related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
