Responsibilities & Context:
∎ System Design & Engineering - i) Design and develop solar hybrid and home ESS systems, including PV arrays, inverters, battery storage (Lead-Acid, Li-ion, LFP, etc.) and system integration. ii) Perform sizing, simulation, and load analysis using tools like PVsyst, HOMER or similar. iii) Develop one-line diagrams, wiring schematics and installation layouts.
∎ Technical Evaluation & BOM Preparation - i) Prepare technical specifications, Bill of Materials (BOM) and cost estimates for complete systems. ii) Evaluate new components and technologies for efficiency, safety and cost-effectiveness.
∎ Project Implementation Support - i) Assist in site assessment, installation supervision and commissioning of hybrid solar systems and home ESS. iii) Provide technical support to the installation and service teams.
∎ Product Development & Customization - i) Collaborate with related department teams to customize ESS solutions for residential applications. ii) Work with suppliers to co-develop or modify inverters, batteries and controllers based on application needs.
∎ Performance Monitoring & Optimization - i) Analyze system performance data using remote monitoring platforms. ii) Troubleshoot and optimize system operation for improved energy efficiency and uptime.
∎ Compliance & Safety - i) Ensure designs meet relevant international (IEC, UL) and local standards, codes and safety regulations. ii) Prepare documentation for certification, inspection and approvals.
∎ Cross-functional Collaboration - i) Coordinate with sales, procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure project timelines and deliverables. ii) Support technical training for internal teams and customers.
∎ Documentation & Reporting - i) Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including test protocols, reports and user manuals. ii) Maintain updated records of system designs, test results and field performance feedback.
∎ Customer & After Sales Support - i) Provide technical assistance during pre-sales and post-sales phases. ii) Help resolve field issues and collect customer feedback for future improvements.
∎ Continuous Improvement - i) Stay updated with emerging solar, battery technology trends and energy management systems. ii) Recommend design improvements and contribute to product roadmaps.
