∎ Projahnmo Research Foundation (PRF) in association with Johns Hopkins University, USA has a long and illustrious history of conducting research in Bangladesh. PRF`s research has contributed to improvements of health of Bangladeshi citizens and has supported the career development of numerous Bangladeshi public health professionals. Projahnmo Research Foundation is seeking qualified and motivated applicants from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Research Investigator.
∎ Job Location: This position is based in Dhaka but requires field visits.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Research Implementation and monitoring:
∎ Assist to design of data tools, consent forms, guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Assist to prepare document for IRB submission, translate consent form in Bangla and submit to IRB
∎ Ensure study documents and logistics timely supply to study team with proper documentation
∎ Assist to organize training to study staff as and when required
∎ Make field visits to monitor study activities,tracking progress of study activities, prepare weekly/fortnightly/monthly reports and identify gaps and provide specific feedback
∎ Monitor adherence to protocol and SOPs
∎ Report to IRB/DSMB for any AE/ SAEs as per protocol
∎ 2. Data analysis and report writing:
∎ Work closely with Data Management Team, assist in data analysis and prepare reports
∎ Draft periodic donor reports as per schedule
∎ Participate in data analysis and manuscript writing with investigators and senior staff
∎ 3. Project development: Assist to design of new studies:
∎ Participate/ contribute in the design of new concept notes, proposals and LOIs.
∎ Participate in literature review
∎ Coordinate information collection at field for new study design
∎ Assist to prepare budgets and budget narratives
∎ 4. Communication and liaise:
∎ Maintain liaison with stakeholders such as DGHS, DGFP,BMRC, BSMMU, DGDA etc.
∎ Regularly communicate to PI and co-investigators to update progress and share issues with potential solutions
∎ Coordinate and follow up with partners and other stakeholders for specific assignments

Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 years relevant experience in research projects or program implementation will be an added advantage.
∎ Computer skill in MS office
∎ Knowledge of ethical guidelines
∎ Knowledge on research design, analysis and scientific writing
∎ Strong written and oral communication in English and Bangla
∎ Should be able to work with a diverse team
∎ Should be willing to accept challenges and able to handle multiple tasks at a time
∎ Should have a drive to learn and solve problems

Salary:
∎ Tk. 77220 (Monthly)
∎ Taka 77,220 per month. Additional 12% retirement fund contribution by PRF will be given as per organizational policy. (Salary is negotiable for highly experience candidate)
