Job Context:
∎ Projahnmo Research Foundation (PRF) in association with Johns Hopkins University, USA has a long and illustrious history of conducting research in Bangladesh. PRF`s research has contributed to improvement of health of Bangladeshi citizens and has supported the career development of numerous Bangladeshi public health professional. PRF is seeking qualified and motivated applicants from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Research Investigator to support a pregnancy biorepository cohort study allowing opportunities to work closely with Johns Hopkins University in multi-omics work and collaboration with North-South University in Bangladesh and multiple US Universities.
∎ Under the direction of the study PI (Professor/faculty, Johns Hopkins University in USA) and Director, PRF, the Research Investigator will be responsible for overall management of the study. S/he ensures effective and efficient use of project`s resources and materials.
∎ Job Nature: Fixed term
∎ Working Condition: The position is based at PRF Dhaka Office with visits (~20%) in study site at Zakiganj/Sylhet
∎ The appointment will be made on a fixed-term basis.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist with protocol amendment, IRB report preparation and submission
∎ Assist with execution of MOU/Material Transfer Agreement with stakeholder in country and abroad.
∎ Organize Biobank utilization committee meeting, taking notes and prepare related documents and obtain approval from the committee members
∎ Work with data team and biobank team to facilitate specimen shipment
∎ Participate in data analysis and write up of manuscripts
∎ Participate in weekly/fortnightly/monthly calls with the PI and study stakeholders at different time zones and also after office hours, keep meeting notes and proactively follow up relevant persons to complete the task within timeline
∎ Receive bioinformatics training and participate in future analysis with partners

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years professional experience with experience on data analysis and publications will be given preference
∎ Applicants having training in bioinformatics will be given preference
∎ Strong in written and verbal English and Bangla communications
∎ Skilled in MS Office software

Salary:
∎ NOA level.
