Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in a health discipline (medical, dental, pharmacy, nursing, physical
∎ therapy, occupational therapy graduates) or other quantitative social science discipline
∎ supplemented by a Master's degree in public health or a closely related subject.

∎ Job Context
∎ The Research Associate (RA) will develop research protocol, grant proposals, create
∎ data collection tools, collect and analyze primary and secondary data for research and then write reports and manuscripts. The RA may present research findings in national and international meetings, seminars and conferences. Mentoring will be provided to develop skills in preparing and submitting grant proposals and research manuscripts. Based in Dhaka, the RA may need to occasionally make field visits for data collection. The successful candidate will work with experienced health researchers and have the opportunity to develop a track record to pursue higher study in a few years if desired so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning and managing day-to-day research activities from implementation and
∎ monitoring to quality assurance
∎ Documenting all activities related to research projects
∎ Developing, translating, and refining survey questionnaires
∎ Responsible for data collection and data-entry processes while ensuring good quality of the data
∎ Assisting in data cleaning and analysis
∎ Providing timely updates and responses to the team leader
∎ Interviewing staff, patients and stakeholders if required for research purpose
∎ Maintaining accurate records and safeguarding the confidentiality of research subjects
∎ Preparing progress reports on time
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 22 years
∎ Communication Skills: Advanced English reading, writing, listening and presentation
∎ skills
∎ Other Skills: Familiarity with research methods and experience in data management,
∎ data cleaning, and basic statistical analysis; Must be proficient in MS package
Salary: Tk. 30000 - 50000 (Monthly)
