∎ Age at least 30 years

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist the Consultant in managing outpatient, inpatient, and day care oncology cases.
∎ Perform initial assessments, take detailed patient histories, and carry out physical examinations.
∎ Document clinical notes, diagnostic impressions, and treatment plans as directed by the Consultant.
∎ Monitor the progress of oncology patients, including those undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or palliative care.
∎ Coordinate and follow up on laboratory, imaging, and other diagnostic investigations.
∎ Respond to clinical calls and emergencies related to oncology patients in wards and critical care units.
∎ Supervise and monitor the administration of chemotherapy and other oncology-specific treatments.
∎ Ensure adherence to established chemotherapy protocols and manage adverse effects or complications in consultation with the Consultant.
∎ Participate in tumor board discussions, case presentations, and multidisciplinary meetings.
∎ Liaise with radiology, pathology, surgical, and radiation oncology teams for comprehensive patient management.
∎ Be available for on-call responsibilities as per departmental rosters, including weekends and holidays.
