Educational Requirements:
∎ Mid Level Ophthalmic Personnel (MLOP) - Govt. Approved Ophthalmic Assistant Certificate Course
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Operate ophthalmic equipment for patient's eye examination.
∎ History taking
∎ Visual acuity measurement
∎ Refractometry (measurements for the glasses prescription)
∎ Tonometry (measure eye pressure)
∎ Measure pupil size and reactivity
∎ Test and measure eye muscle function
∎ Assist with contact lens fitting, and patient instruction
∎ Assist Ophthalmologists during examination and surgeries.
∎ Maintains positive attitude and need to have cooperation with others colleague, self-motivation, courtesy, and professionalism.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Good Interpersonal & Communication skills.
∎ Integrity and ethical value must be strong.
∎ Must have good typing speed, both in English and Bangla.
