∎ B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from any reputed public/private university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
BOQ Analysis, BOQ Preparation, Civil Construction, EPC projects, quantity surveyor, Steel Structure
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Engineering Firms, Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Estimate work items from the IFC design and prepare the BOQ and BOM.
∎ Check the signed measurement book from the client before submission of the IPC.
∎ Check and clear vendor bills according to the estimation file.
∎ Compare vendors' POs with the approved cost budget.
∎ Prepare reports to identify the NP at various stages of the project.
∎ Prepare the consumption of the cost budget according to the revenue achieved ratio to check the GP.
∎ Price or forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project.
∎ Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as project managers, project engineers, and site engineers.
∎ Measure and value the work done on site.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Sound knowledge of the understanding of construction design.
∎ Ability to prepare own spreadsheet for estimation and BOQ preparation.
∎ Knowledge of PWD or related rate analysis formats.
∎ Ability to prepare analytical reports of costing at turnkey and breakdown model.
∎ Proficient in MS Office applications.
∎ Ability to effectively read and convert construction drawings.
∎ Should have excellent communication skills and strong team player skills.
