Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc/Diploma in Mechanical/Civil engineering from any recognized and reputed institute.
∎ QC certification from any reputed international organization is preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparation of ITP (Inspection Test Plan) and making sure that the job is carried out accordingly;
∎ Develop Quality plans that comply with factory operations;
∎ Familiarize with project specifications and quality control manual;
∎ Establish & maintain proper QC process as per requirement of management;
∎ Preparing all required documents for BEZA and other authorities;
∎ Carrying out stage wise inspection as per approved ITP;
∎ Adding process development steps with existing system;
∎ Cutting consumable are checked on regular basis to ensure proper use;
∎ Checking machineries regularly.
∎ Checking the calibration of all measuring equipment's;
∎ Checking that the delivery materials are duly qualified as required;
∎ Review of mill certificates and calibration certificates of equipment's;
∎ To verify that all work is performed in accordance with the engineering design requirements, codes, standards & DO requirements etc.;
∎ To carryout report preparation, review, submission and documentation as per client and quality system requirements. Also to control calibrated measuring and test equipment used in factory.
∎ Supervise the implementation of the relevant QA & QC procedures, QC plans and to Instruction concerned QA/QC Engineer;
∎ To carried out all QA & QC aspects of slitting and cutting materials;
∎ Assist in other work arranged by colleagues, superiors, managers and project head;
∎ Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the Head of Department (HOD).
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ PEB, Steel Structures, Bridge, Structural, Fabrication, Welding, QA/QC, Factory
∎ Minimum 3 years of experience in the role of QA/QC Engineer at any steel fabrication factory is preferred.
∎ Working experience in multi-national steel structure projects is preferred.
∎ Should be self-motivated, dynamic leadership and energetic and capable to work under pressure.
∎ Must have excellent oral and written English communication skill.
