∎ We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Purchasing/Logistics Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overseeing and managing the purchasing and logistics functions within the company. You will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and products while maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers and optimizing the supply chain.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies and policies to ensure cost savings, quality assurance, and on-time delivery of materials and products.
∎ Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing and reliable delivery.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, monitor inventory levels, and develop inventory management strategies.
∎ Oversee the logistics and transportation processes, including managing freight forwarders, carriers and customs regulations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
∎ Continuously monitor and optimize the supply chain to improve efficiency, reduce costs and mitigate risks.
∎ Track, analyze and measure supplier performance, inventory levels, and overall procurement effectiveness.
∎ Resolve any supply related issues or disputes in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 03-04 years' working experience in a similar capacity.
∎ Proven experience as a purchasing/logistics executive, preferably experience in a MEP project site.
∎ Strong knowledge of procurement principles, inventory management and logistics operations.
∎ Proficiency in using ERP system and MS Office.
∎ Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
∎ Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
∎ Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to purchasing and logistics.
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced project site and meet tight deadlines.
∎ Knowledge of project materials, equipment, and procurement processes.
