∎ Office location: Jashim Uddin, Uttara.
∎ Working hours start from 7:00am (Monday to Friday).
∎ Have to work simultaneously with different departments located in Sydney & Hongkong.
∎ Employment Type: Full-Time, No remote job available.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work closely with vendors and internal teams located in Sydney & Hongkong to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials for production.
∎ Communicate effectively to quotes, negotiate terms, and address any issues that may arise.
∎ Generate and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
∎ Track and monitor open orders, ensuring on-time delivery and resolving any discrepancies.
∎ Assist in negotiating favorable terms, pricing, payment terms with suppliers and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
∎ Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure purchased materials meet specified standards and address quality issues with vendors effectively.
∎ Follow up on action items, collaborate with team members and meet deadlines.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent analytical skills & proficient in Microsoft Excel.
∎ Good verbal communication and writing skills in English.
∎ Proactive, well-mannered, collaborative, and easy-going team player.
∎ Experience is not essential but having interest in global sourcing & logistics and self-learner is must.
∎ Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multitasking work environment.
