Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintenance of all Plant protective relaying and associated control circuits (including testing, calibration, functional tests, trouble shooting, and installation of upgrades), such as: Main Power Transformer, Unit Auxiliary Transformer, Start-up/Standby Transformer relaying, Plant/Switchyard interface relaying, Generator relaying and all medium voltage switchgear relaying and transfer schemes
∎ Maintenance of Plant Metering: MWh metering calibrations and upgrade installations
∎ Voltage, current, watt, var, and frequency transducer calibrations and testing of associated equipment
∎ Maintenance of ancillary equipment: Emergency bearing oil pump test, Current transformer meggar test
∎ Interface with plant I&C personnel and with outside contractors. Outage support
∎ Provide and/or support problem solving using trouble-shooting skills and DME recorder data
∎ Lead new installation wiring verification, checkout, and functional test
∎ Install, calibrate, and maintain equipment associated with data acquisition and remote telemetry to support required multiple ISO and NERC protocols
∎ Perform other tasks as assigned
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ 11 Years with 6 years practical experience on Substation protection/Control.
∎ Good health, sports experience
∎ Ability to work long hours
∎ Practical Knowledge in protection and control of substation.
∎ Practical Knowledge and expertise in MS word, Excel and Photoshop etc.
∎ Experience or knowledge or interest in learning field instrumentation and cabling.
∎ Ability to prepare checklists for field engineering works
∎ Ability to ensure effective use of internal and external resources
Salary: Negotiable
