Job Context:
∎ We are going to operate a Jetty, Cargo Handling, Stevedoring, Equipment Rental and Operation Service under Multi-national Company at Matarbari Ultra Super Critical Coal-Fired Power Project in Chittagong, Bangladesh. We are looking competent, smart, result oriented, self-motivated, energetic, honest & sincere person for smoothly handling the Project. Looking for a Project Engineering Manager (Jetty Operate) who would plan and coordinate the technical expertise and services required to ensure successful delivery of Jetty Operation projects. Responsibilities may include business development, budget control, project & resource management, engineering operations, performance management, training and all other related business activities. He is expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.
∎ Job Location: Matarbari Ultra Super Critical Coal-Fired Power Project (must be prepared to stay on multiple locations as assignment or necessitates).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall Monitoring of Project Operation, Liaise with Clients & Stakeholders.
∎ Heaving Expertise in Heavy Lifting & Transportation (Offshore & Onshore), ODC Cargo Handling, Crane & Heavy Equipment Rental etc.
∎ Heaving detailed knowledge and familiarity with Contracts Agreement and ensure that work is implementation & execution accordingly and that the work fulfills Contractual Requirements.
∎ Heaving knowledge in Engineering & Construction, Project Management, Supervision, Operation & Maintenance, Heavy Lifting - Haulage Plan, Work Procedure, Mythology, Contract Agreement, Measurement of Work Quantity, Documentation etc.
∎ Responsible for ensuring that standard of engineering services provided complies with corporate standards and Client specifications along with appropriate legislation.
∎ Develop man-hour estimates and subsequent engineering schedule for implementation to suit overall project plan, taking responsibility for delivery.
∎ Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues. Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
∎ Ensure Discharging of materials at Matarbari Jetties as per target including stevedoring service, such as cutting lashing and hook-on work, in ship (barge) side and hook-off work in shore (Jetty) side for barge/vessel.
∎ Ensure Trucking & Trailer-off of the materials between Jetties to laydown area or Jobsite.
∎ Assure waterproof cover and proper lashings against wind and rain in case cargo are temporarily stored in Jetty areas.
∎ Prepare Engineering Design, Drawing, Planning, Estimation, Sourcing, Cost Analysis, and BOQ & Commercial Offer for EPC projects.
∎ Perform any other tasks, duties & responsibilities as assigned by the management.
