∎ Working in high-rise building construction & in Township / Housing project construction will be considered as an added preference.
∎ Strong technical background in civil construction.
∎ Deep knowledge of construction materials and methodologies.
∎ Highly collaborative spirit and leading multiple teams.
∎ Problem-solving skills to quickly address issues that arise on-site and keep projects on track.
∎ Capable of dealing with multiple projects simultaneously.
∎ Proficient in MS Office including MS Project, AutoCAD and ERP software.
∎ Should have very pleasant personality with excellent communication skills both in Bengali & English.
∎ Must be hard working with enthusiastic attitude.§ Should live in project site area.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project.
∎ Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements within the given framework.
∎ Prepare the project schedule considering all work scopes, dependent activities, resource mobilization, final project completion deadline, minimum lag time and projected uncertainties.
∎ Review the project plans & specifications and comment on the building design, scheduling, possible cost savings measures and potential construction problems.
∎ Guide estimator in preparation of project budget.
∎ Prepare a general conditions budget.
∎ Assemble the job site office and identifying equipment requirements.
∎ Intelligently communicate with design team/client as well as effectively lead the trades.
∎ Expedite all shop drawings and approvals.
∎ Monitor and maintain the project construction schedule on a weekly basis.
∎ Raise and discuss relevant issues at the job site meetings and prepare & issue minutes of all site meetings.
∎ Inform the Consultant/Client about errors, discrepancies or omissions contained within the Consultant’s design drawings.
∎ Expedite all Contract Change Notifications (CCN) and Change Orders (CO) costs. Maintain current Change Order logs properly.
∎ Monitor site safety and ensure that the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Acts are enforced.
∎ Ensure completion of and track all independent testing and inspections during all relevant construction phases.
∎ Issue monthly progress draws and invoicing to consultant and client including final holdbacks.
∎ Maintain and enforce good construction standards and quality control systems in all activities of the project.
∎ Manage construction wastes considering HSE regulations and give emphasis on reuse, recycling, incineration, landfill etc. as some of the waste disposal method.
∎ Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
∎ Maintain control and responsibility for the security and operation of company’s directly owned equipment on the job site in conjunction with site staffs.
∎ Control and monitor labor, material and equipment expenses.
∎ Prepare monthly cost forecasting summaries.
∎ Ensure that “as-built” drawings are prepared on the ongoing basis by all trades during the construction period and issue final close-outs to consultant/owner accordingly.
∎ Ensure all required municipal/local authority inspections are performed.
∎ Prepare and expedite project deficiency lists.
∎ Any other responsibility assigned by the superior authority, like GM, PD & CEO.
