Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Public or foreign university.
∎ PMP certification or M.Sc in Project management is highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish specifications, standards and procedures for executing the desired project particularly with respect to planning, scheduling and cost controlling and secure agreement from higher levels of supervision to proceed with implementation.
∎ Continuously review the scope for improvement in project management processes and project performance, based on lessons learned and recommending changes where necessary.
∎ Update tracking of project budgets, determine cash flow of construction works and monitor financial performance of projects to ensure best quality of work is provided within cost constraints.
∎ Maintain a cost control system throughout the project, providing regular financial updates to the development team and Project leader. Ensure sound financial project management including accurate budget forecasts to completion, cash flows and financial tracking of key accounts.
∎ Identify & manage key construction risks and oversee the resolution of disputes with contractors.
∎ Coordinate and liaise with contractors and project Consultants through project meetings for execution of projects. In order to agree specifications, standards, equipment selection, installation, testing, commissioning and acceptance of completed works.
∎ Expedite all CCN & CO (change order) costs. Maintain current CO logs.
∎ Perform site inspections on regular basis to follow-up on work progress ensuring that work progress is carried out as per approved work schedule, while guaranteeing that the timeliness of the project meet the target dates (attend progress meetings) and that appropriate resources are allocated as per the contractual agreement.
∎ Ensure that all relevant safety, quality and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed during the project implementation.
∎ Ensure lessons learnt workshops and documentation is prepared and made available for the benefit of future projects.
∎ Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders, and escalate to management as needed.
∎ Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
∎ Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis.
∎ Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
∎ Present reports defining project progress, risks and issues, with a well-defined mitigation plans.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 46 years
∎ Effective written and verbal communication in English including good presentation skill.
∎ Proficiency in use different kinds of project management tools & software.
∎ Knowledge on BNBC rules
∎ Knowledge on construction techniques and materials
∎ Leadership and people management skills
∎ Gulf/ Middle East experience in large project will get preference.
Salary: Negotiable
