Job Context:
∎ We are looking for Project Manager - Civil for River Bank Protection - BIWTA - EPC Project under Confidence Infrastructure Limited (Steel Unit).
∎ Candidate should have intention to travel anywhere in the Bangladesh for project purpose.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Execute effective plan, implement & monitor of project activities for River Bank Protection civil works.
∎ Provide technical support for all jobs involved in the projects to the subordinate for River Bank Protection civil works.
∎ Ensure all works in projects of River Bank Protection civil works are running as per program in consistent with Working Drawings.
∎ Ensure all excess utility connections officially disconnected, all utility meters safe and secured, security post constructed, site office established with proper facilities, labor shed constructed with required facilities, safe and secured store for preserving materials.
∎ Train the project team on assessment, quality control, progress monitoring & administration discipline to create satisfactory job environment.
∎ Ensure all quality control process are maintained properly as per River Bank Protection civil works.
∎ To make Sure all safety measures are followed by both the contractor and his people.
∎ To arrange & attend meeting with contractors & site personal to identify the issue to improve the project progress & quality for taking better initiative in all respect.
∎ Certifying Project Material Requisitions.
∎ Certifying all running and final bills of contractors.
∎ Evaluating project staffs and contractors from time to time and recommend to Team Leader (Engineering) about them.
∎ Select finishing materials like tiles, bath and electrical fixtures etc. in consultation with, Team Leader, Supply chain management, Customer Care Dept. and Director.
∎ Create & update personal work planning & style to motive own self for smooth, effective & timely fulfillment of job responsibilities to achieve the company's goal.
∎ Prepare finishing detail program for projects in finishing stage.
∎ Estimate materials as per requisition in accordance with project budget as well as guideline and policies.
∎ Time to time compare the actual work done against planned and take necessary action to maintain the work schedule of River Bank Protection civil works.
∎ Keep record regarding Sites information, copy of approved plan and detail information.
∎ To be accountable for the successful completion of River Bank Protection civil works
Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidate having River Bank Protection civil work construction experience will get priority
∎ Good problem-solving skills and be able to manage a whole project, including looking after budget, and it's important that meets deadlines
∎ Should have Experience in Core Construction Area
∎ Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, MS Office & MS Excel
∎ Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
∎ Able to forecast Project engineering schedule
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Strong leadership skill
