∎ MD/ Post graduation in Microbiology/ Chest Medicine/ Community Medicine/ Public Health/Health Service Management or equivalent qualification (with 7+ years of experience in related field) OR PhD in Microbiology/ Chest Medicine/ Community Medicine/ Public Health/ Epidemiology/ Health Services Management (with 10+ years of experience related field)

∎ Comprehensive knowledge and experience of managing projects related to TB or HIV or other disease programs of Ministry of Health at national/ divisional level.
∎ Familiarity and experience of working with ministry of health policies, program priorities and regulations is required.
∎ Experience of lab quality management system will be desirable.
∎ Good oral and written communication skills (including English and local language)
∎ Strong team orientation
∎ Ability to work independently, with minimum handholding and supervisionEnergetic, resilient, and passionate
∎ Proficient in using computer and MS office applications (Word, Excel Power point, Outlook, etc.)
∎ Professional, mature, and confident.
∎ Ability to coordinate with internal & external stakeholders and on-site teams.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Bangladesh continues to be amongst the 30 high TB and drug resistant TB burden countries in the world.
∎ The TB laboratory infrastructure of Bangladesh includes 1 National TB Reference Laboratory, 5 Regional TB Reference Laboratories (RTRLs), 619 GeneXpert sites with 735 Xpert machines (another 105 will be added by 2024), 150 Truenat sites, 1120 designated microscopy centres and 277 X-ray sites.
∎ FIND is providing technical assistance to NTP Bangladesh to strengthen TB Lab quality management systems under The Global Fund grant.
