Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from any reputed university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 20 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent will be responsible for:
∎ Planning for execution and responsible for timely completion of the civil construction project as per plan.
∎ Carryout process improvement and operations optimization.
∎ To coordinate with consultants, design team and top management regarding drawing and material specifications.
∎ Work within project schedules to meet firm, client and internal deadlines.
∎ Supervise and control of the job activities of the subordinates of the project.
∎ Upon confirmation of the project, prepare & initiate the requisition for local procurement after assessing the inventory and coordination with Supply Chain Management.
∎ Ensure and supervise the activities of subcontractors (if any) and materials supplier.
∎ Ensure quality of work at every phase of construction by maintaining checklists/quality control and appropriate/standard procedures.
∎ Ensure quality of structural and architectural works are carried out as per design and specifications and should have good knowledge on civil engineering drawing.
∎ Ensure the quality of construction materials by maintaining proper quality control.
∎ Coordination with materials/labor suppliers for delivery on time.
∎ To supervise steel structure erection and follow up the delivery of materials in sequence in coordination with Factory and design division.
∎ To prepare a project estimate and cost analysis based on working design/drawing.
∎ Finding out the ways for cost minimization.
∎ To ensure project/site labor Management.
∎ To ensure timely progress of the project as per Works Schedule.
∎ To ensure site stores are well maintained, safe and secured with no excess unused materials.
∎ Ensure the timely preparation of contractors/suppliers running and final bills.
∎ Budget preparation.
∎ Time to time meeting and reporting to management.
∎ Any other assignment/job not detailed herein & felt conductive by Management as and when necessary.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Age Not over 50 years (may be relaxed for highly experienced candidate)
∎ Minimum 20-year(s) experience in the relevant field will be preferred.
∎ Should be self-motivated, dynamic leadership, negotiation, customer relationship and planning/budgeting competency, energetic & capable to work under pressure.
∎ Must have experience in larger project.
∎ Sound Knowledge on civil design and Bangladesh National Building Code.
∎ Have expertise in estimation and tender preparation.
∎ Good communication skill and fluent in English.
