∎ UNITEX Group started as a business of Spinning and Composite yarn manufacturing business entity in 1992 and since then has evolved into a rapidly growing multi-dimensional conglomerate. UNITEX Group is an emerging large conglomerate with a lot of projects in the pipelines across diversified industry such as consumer goods, steel, petroleum, LPG, Agri business, jute and so on.
∎ Job Location: Corporate Office, Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Act as a key interface between all stakeholders including machinery vendors and top management to ensure robust executions of the projects within the target time frame.
∎ Have an explicit clarity of the machinery layout and specifications of equipment that are approved by the relevant experts so that flawless production operations are ensured after commissioning.
∎ Act as a project lead to complete all types of civil, mechanical, electrical works of new projects including ETP plant where applicable within scheduled time.
∎ To engage with the management stuff and the vendors on the project site to follow up the progress, assess the quality of executions, identify areas of improvements etc. and initiate required corrective measures as applicable.
∎ To ensure recruitment as per the approved head count in line with the activity critical path of each project in coordination with the HR department. It is imperative to take ownership in assisting the HR department in sourcing the talents in key positions from relevant industry.
∎ To ensure all regulatory requirements (e. g Trademark, BSTI approval) are completed through engaging the required cross functional departments and external agency.
∎ To assist the Marketing Director for product development for each category by coordinating with all key stakeholders including the global consultants.
∎ To assist marketing team through technical inputs to strategize the packaging strategy for each product category.
∎ To update periodic project progress review with the Management Board along with recommendations based on multiple scenario including project risks management to assist in informed decision making.
∎ Development of SOP of all machines in consultation with the experts of the vendors to ensure smooth production operations including a structured process for preventive maintenance and trouble shooting.
∎ To ensure solid on-the-job training for all operators and engineers through the experts of the vendors and also to ensure standard training manual for periodic refresher clinic and training the new joiners.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidate should have minimum 7-8 years of experiences in manufacturing plant in FMCG industry.
∎ Experience as Plant/Factory Manager will be an added advantage.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
∎ Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
∎ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
