Job Context:
∎ Location: Based in Dhaka or Chattogram
∎ Reporting to: Program Manager - SJP
∎ Coordination With: OM-SJP, Sr. BM-SJP, OM-W&L, Procurement Committee
∎ Operational Monitoring of: Plumbers` Team, Site Foreman
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design & prepare drawings both outlines and full plans of water network and pump system with pipe networks. Construct new water networks together at Dhaka and Chattogram and other cities.
∎ Design and construct water network related infrastructures such as clusters, pump room etc. and fire hydrants with cabinet.
∎ Managing and maintaining water infrastructures like-piped network, cluster cages, pump room and Fire hydrant equipment's.
∎ Presenting projects details and technical information to colleagues and clients.
∎ Managing project budgets and writing necessary technical report.
∎ Supervise and assist the technical team for the construction and maintenance of the water network.
∎ Managing vendors and supervise the constructions assignments, provided technical feedback.
∎ Supervise the Water quality test on a regular basis.
∎ Creates and updates GIS databases.
∎ Prepares the BoQ and the budget of construction works.
∎ To assist with the quotations and purchases of materials and to follow up.
∎ To conduct technical feasibility study of new area.
∎ Perform relevel procurement in time.
∎ Writing and advertising tender documents and managing contracts.
∎ Liaising with clients, contractors, government agencies, local authorities and suppliers.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience:
∎ Minimum 3 years' experience.
∎ Proven experience in the use of AutoCAD is a MUST
∎ Ability to use GIS software
∎ Experience in WASH sector is desired
∎ Must have experience in Site Supervision
∎ Proven experience in Water Quality Test.
∎ Skills:
∎ Sound knowledge about design and maintenance of piped water network.
∎ Knowledge about Water Quality Parameters and Water Treatment for drinking purposes.
∎ Proven computer skills (MS Word, Excel, drawing software)
∎ Ability to use water quality test (Wagtech kits)
∎ Proficient in both spoken and written English
∎ Team management and planning skills
∎ Strong team motivation and social work minded
∎ Dynamic
Salary:
∎ BDT 45,500 to 60,000 (depends on candidate`s skills and experience)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Two Days' Weekend, Gratuity, Medical Insurance, Two Festival Bonus (basic) per year, Mobile Allowance.
